Bruker S8 Tiger Series 1

The Bruker S8 Tiger is a compact Wavelength-Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer (WDXRF). The Series 1 shares much of the architecture with the current Series 2 Tiger models along with its excellent reliability and performance. These systems were offered in a wide range of configurations. This specific unit is configured as follows:

Power
- 1KW High-voltage generator
- 4KW X-ray tube (preferred for long lifespan)
Autosampler
- 75-positions. Configured for Bruker “EasyLoad” sample cups with two removable trays for 20 cups/each.
- 20 sample cups included with system.
Software
- Windows 11 PC with SpectraPlus software
Cooling
- No external water chiller is required for the 1KW S8 Tiger. Heat is transferred to ambient air.
Detectors
- Scintillation counter for heavier elements
- Flow Proportional counter (rebuildable, requires P10 gas supply @7psi)
Crystals
- 8-positions
- LiF200, PET, XS-55 (elements from U to Na) included
- Additional crystals optional
Collimators (Soller Slits)
- 4-positions
- 0.23° (fine) and 0.46° (Coarse) included
Masks
- 3-positions
- Blank, 28mm, 34mm included

- Standard filter configuration, including Be tube shield included
