Bruker D4 Endeavor

The Bruker D4 Endeavor is built on the same platform as the D8 Series 1 and 2 instruments, but is designed for maximum throughput. They served users with high sample volumes who needed large autosamplers. These have been the ideal choice for industries like cement, geology, and aluminum production. The D4 comes standard with a 66-position autosampler including a 2-position transfer mechanism which allows for samples to be added or removed from the magazine without interrupting the measurement in-process.

  • HIGH-THROUGHPUT
    • Designed for continuous use with a 66-position autosampler integrated into the housing.
    • Compatible with Bruker LynxEye detectors for rapid data collection.
  • COMPACT
    • The D4 uses nearly identical hardware to its research-style siblings, but packaged in the most space-efficient frame possible. The result is a full-featured powder XRD with a large autosampler that takes up approximately 60% of the floorspace required for the larger instrument.
  • CAPABLE
    • Phase Identification and quantification, Whole Pattern Fitting, Rietveld modeling, Crystallite size calculation, Phi-axis is standard
  • POWDER XRD WORKHORSE
    • We recommend the D4 Endeavor instruments for applications that require a large autosampler and wherever space is a concern.
  • Goniometer
    • Theta/2Theta (Θ/2Θ) goniometer
    • Independent control of each axis for grazing incidence and rocking curves
    • 0.0001°/step minimum step size.
  • High-voltage generator
    • Medium frequency (20KHz) design
    • 3.0 KW max power
    • Computer-controlled generator
  • Source
    • Standard air-insulated, short-anode X-ray tube
